Today, I made a puppet, it's name was... Hoppy! For a break, I had apple juice and two biscuits, the first biscuit was whole, and the second one was half, because the packet was standing up and it was tough to get the biscuit out, so it snapped.
We made Hoppy with cardboard rolled into a ice cream cone shape and then put some newspaper into a frogs head and covered it with masking tape all over his head, and then the person who told us how to make Hoppy put two holes in the side of him and put a little painted green stick in through it, and then Mummy stuck two pieces of some material on to the green bits poking out the side, and stuck them on for legs. And then we drew round some feet and then cut them out on the other piece of cardboard. And then we stuck the feet on. And then we had a little break. And then we got lots of green pieces, and stuck them on the glued bit and then we put some glue over the top of the green bit. And then we had a hoppity, hoppity, hoppity around with it and went to the man who told us how to make him and he put some frogs eyes on and green or blue eyebrows and a red smiley face that was actually a pipe cleaner, and no nose.
